Sunflower Oil Infused with Plantain, Calendula & Marshmallow Root
Calendula Flower is nourishing and healing for minor skin irritations and its anti-inflammatory properties support inflamed skin. It is incredibly gentle, soothing for rashes, sunburns, and dry skin and has a long history of topical use in baby and kids skin care formulas.
Plantain Leaf is a gentle healing herb with a long history of use for rashes, bug bites, and dry skin. It supports a healthy inflammatory response and its cooling property is soothing while its allantoin and aucubin content help speed up skin healing.
Marshmallow Root is a soothing herb with a long history of use on irritated skin due to a healing compound called mucilage which cools and soothes, creating a protective barrier on the skin.
Jojoba Oil is very similar to our skin's own sebum and therefore provides true nutrients that keeps the skin supple and soft throughout the day. Jojoba has anti-inflammatory properties, is antibacterial and and provides healing support. Its high wax content supports skin conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis and eczematous dermatitis.
Shea Butter is anti-inflammatory, non-greasy, easily absorbed by the skin and has emollient properties that support dry skin and hair. It is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and supports skin elasticity, penetrating the dermis, helping to nourish, replenish and repair.
Beeswax creates a breathable layer on the skin while softening, lubricating and soothing.I Its occlusive and humectant properties draw moisture to the skin and help to prevent transdermal water loss. Beeswax supports skin barrier health, providing protection from environmental pollutant exposure and harsh weather (cold wind). Beeswax is anti-septic, antibacterial and and anti-inflammatory. Using organic bee products supports the continuation of organic beekeeping.
Vitamin E s a fat soluble antioxidant that has a long history of clinical use in dermatology. We source our Vitamin E from non-gmo sunflowers, instead of gmo soy. Vitamin E slows down oxidation and protects the skin from free radical damage. It has anti- inflammatory properties and delivers nutrients to the skin to help moisturize and soothe.
RITUAL
Before use, we recommend doing a patch test, as you would with any product to establish there are no allergies to the ingredients.
Use on babies bottom between diaper changes and after bathing as needed.
