 Circular Living is a small woman owned and run business making small batch organic skincare, honoring our bodies and the Earth.

Part Time: 3 days/week: 16-20 hours weekly (opportunity for increased hours during holiday or events) 

Location: 1717 Seabright Ave. Suite 1, Santa Cruz, CA 95062

 Production Assistant

Works from a production list every shift (includes labeling jars/bottles, lot numbering, recording batches, making products, filling the jar/bottles with product and washing all the dishes, cleaning the work surfaces, vacuuming and moping). Production assistant is also responsible for executing quality control and managing ingredient inventory. 

Production Assistant reports to the owner (Eva) and contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Hours:

3 days per week – must be able to train initially on Thursdays, Sunday or Monday.

  • Detail oriented and ability to follow a recipe accurately and has integrity and would speak up if a mistake was made while producing a product.
  • Great personal and workplace hygiene, our skincare products are made to the same standards as food products and cleanliness and sanitary procedures must be followed and always maintained.
  • Previous culinary or baking experience helpful but not required.

·        Works well off a to-do list

·        Fast learner, able to multi-task

·        Ability to lift 40lbs and work standing on their feet for long periods of time

·        Dependable and trustworthy 

·        Non-smoker. There is no smoking in or around the studio. Smoke sticks to clothes and hands and we cannot have smoke anywhere near or on our products during production or shipping. Thank you for understanding.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Producing Circular Living products from scratch

·       Labeling and lot numbering product jars/bottles

·       Deep cleaning of studio space (vacuuming, dusting, moping, sanitizing production surfaces & washing dishes)

·       Managing ingredient inventory

·       Assisting with monthly and year-end inventory

·       Maintains professional co-worker relationships
